Budda Power Blues
Formed in 2004, Budda power Blues is my Power Trio, where I sing, compose and play guitar. It almost became confusing to me due to the absurd dedication I had during all these years.
Trio Pagú
Trio Pagú is a band formed in 2004 that seeks to mix my musical references from Brazil, especially MPB and Bossa Nova, with the European and Portuguese perspective
Budda Power Blues Collective
This is the extended version of Budda Power Blues, featuring João Andresen on harmonica, Rui Pedro Silva on trumpet, and João Martins on saxophone.
It brings a sound more in line with the Memphis blues style, with an electrifying sextet full of rich sonic textures.
Budda Guedes & Vitor Bacalhau
Two of the most respected and influential names in the national Blues/Rock scene join forces in a project that celebrates the essence of the Blues, the guitar, and the song. In an acoustic and intimate format, Budda Guedes and Vítor Bacalhau merge musical worlds, experiences, and sensibilities in an emotional and deeply human sonic journey.
With a career marked by versatility and wholehearted dedication, Budda Guedes is a key figure in the Portuguese Blues scene — a virtuosic guitarist, powerful vocalist, bold producer, and inspiring educator. Vítor Bacalhau brings his own unique vision of Blues/Rock, shaped by experiences both in Portugal and abroad, defined by solid original work and a natural connection to the stage.
This project is born from mutual respect and the desire to create something that breaks away from the usual format. On stage, they deliver a performance where guitar and voice come to life in a raw, honest, and close-up setting. Through original songs, reimagined covers, and shared stories, the audience is invited into a world where virtuosity never overshadows emotion and musicality.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
